Brightening Someone’s Day: Allison Morrow

Allison Morrow

Ride Director and Cash Manager, Incredible Pizza

As an employee at Memphis’ Incredible Pizza Company, a family entertainment center, Allison Morrow has a wide range of responsibilities, from ensuring all the rides are safe to closing up at night. She talked to us about her various roles and a time she went out of her way to connect with a family and ensure they had a great experience.

How long have you been working at Incredible Pizza?

A year and a half.

What is your typical day like at Incredible Pizza?

I have a couple roles. As a director I have to make sure all the rides are good, our employees are doing all the necessary safety protocols, as well as checking on the cashiers. I make sure everything is stocked, everything is clean. And I also have a role as the cash manager. So at the end of the night, I make sure the money is counted and the books are sent off.

Tell us about an experience that you've created for your guests?

There was a lady who came with her husband and their younger daughter for the girl’s sixth birthday. We were pretty slow that day, and they were scared of the rides.

They had never really been on a ride. So I slowed all the rides down for them and personally took them to each ride. I had fun! I got to talk to the family. It is a good memory. It's one of the reasons I like working here.

Thank you, Allison, for your commitment to excellent service!
