HR Matters - February 20: Meet Rick Harrell of RH Counseling Services
Once a month, Welcome to Memphis hosts HR Matters, an engaging in-person event designed to tackle all things HR-related. The event is perfect for employers, seasoned HR hospitality professionals, and those just starting out in the field! This month our discussion topic will be “Offering Mental Health Care to Employees.”
Our discussion leader, Rick Harrell of RH Counseling Services, will facilitate a conversation covering a variety of important topics including the importance of mental health, signs of depression and anxiety, stigmas related to mental health, and providing emotional, organizational and informational support.
Rick is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Tennessee and a National Board Certified Counselor. A native Memphian, he’s a proud graduate of The University of Memphis. After earning his Bachelor of Arts Degree, Rick worked with adult and teen offenders in the criminal justice system as a Probation Officer.
