Bari Ristorante e Enoteca
As you check out our new website, you’ll see lots of familiar faces and places filling our pages as well as gracing the ads that promote our wonderful new Welcome to Memphis jobs board. We love featuring our friends in the hospitality industry, and Bari is no exception. Bari Ristorante e Enoteca is hard to spell but easy to love, which is why we chose this fabulous establishment and its new location for our first jobs initiative advertising campaign photoshoot! A long-time staple of Overton Square, Bari moved a few doors down Cooper Street in 2021 to the present location at the intersection of Peabody Ave and Cooper. We love the staff and the food at Bari and could not have asked for a better team to photograph! Owners Rebecca and Chef Jason Severs were delighted to participate, and the staff from both the back and front of the house set the bar high for our subsequent campaign locations.

Spoiler alert: All of our locations exceeded our expectations every time! Memphis boasts some of the most fun and energetic tourism and hospitality workers around.
Rebecca Severs is a trained Sommelier, a unique role we definitely wanted to feature. Chef Jason cooks with love, recreating regional cuisine from his Southeastern Italian roots. With 20 years behind it, Bari is a shining example of a family restaurant that can stand the test of time. The new location has a beautiful bar where we had the opportunity to photograph bartender and cocktail creator Hunter, who has been a part of the Bari team for 16 years! When we asked Hunter what attracted him most about the hospitality industry, he summed up all of the industry's highlights: “Honestly, it's a lot of fun. You get to be artistic in a different way. I like experimenting with bartending, it’s fun, it’s like chemistry. I like the people. I like eating and drinking.”
