Museum Capital Maintenance and Improvements Grant for FY 23-24

For the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2023, the Tennessee General Assembly included a direct appropriation in the amount of $5 million to the Tennessee State Museum “for the sole purpose of providing grants to museums with a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization or affiliated with a governmental entity for capital maintenance and improvements” (Section 60, Item 30 of the 2023-2024 Appropriations Act).  This grant will be facilitated by the State Museum and is open to museums located in Tennessee.
