Hog wild: Pasture-raised Mississippi pigs are primed for barbecue fests
The two dueling barbecue fests coming up this week — the traditional Memphis in May World Championship Barbecue Cooking Competition and the new kid on the river, SmokeSlam — will have something in common (other than grease and smoke and too much beer): Several teams will be competing with hogs from a regenerative farm in Como, Mississippi.
